17 killed in Russian strikes on Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia city

Kiev, Oct 9 (IANS) Somewhere around 17 individuals were killed and handfuls harmed in for the time being Russian strikes on Ukraine’s south-eastern city of Zaporizhzhia, the Ukraine protection service has said.

Ukrainian provincial lead representative in Zaporizhzhia, Oleksandr Starukh said, “Russian rockets somewhat obliterated a nine-story building . Eight individuals have been saved. There might be more individuals under the rubble.”

However the city is under Ukrainian control, it is a piece of the locale Russia professed to have added last month, BBC revealed.
