Alizée Jacotey, popularly known as Alizee, is a French singer who topped the world’s chart with her first single Moi…Lolita. She was born on the coast of Island Corsica in Ajaccio.

At the age of 4, Alizee was fond of dancing, so her parents sent her to practice at the dancing studio. She became the lead dancer and got solo roles in all group dancing.

In 2003, at a music awards ceremony, Alizee Jacotey met musician and fashion designer, Jeremy Chatelain. The duo got married in Las Vegas and had a daughter, Annily. The family lived in Paris in their own house, but after nine years of marriage, Alizee and Jeremy broke up.

A year after her divorce, she took part in a popular reality show ‘Dancing with the Stars’. Her partner was a professional dancer Gregoire Lyonnet and during their rehearsal, they started dating. After winning the show, the young people started dating and on June 18, 2016, they got married.

Famous French singer Mylène Farmer and composer Laurent Boutonnat, who were looking for a young talent with a beautiful voice to create a joint project, offered Alize to start her vocal career. The girl agreed to work in a new creative team. The first single Alize for the song “Moi … Lolita” was released on May 19, 2000.
