“With what appears to be continuously recurrent news of Trey Songz’s alleged sexual assaults, I am forced to revisit in my mind repeatedly and suffer afresh, the long-suppressed horror and severe PTSD of my rape at a well-known Las Vegas hotel,” Gonzalez said on social media.
Gonzalez, 27, has hired lawyers George Vrabeck and Ariel Mitchell, who told People that they are preparing to file the lawsuit.
“Trey and Trey’s team are confident in the legal process and that there will be an abundance of exonerating facts to come over the coming several weeks,” a rep for Songz, 37, told TMZ.
Gonzalez’s legal team also represents Jahaura Jeffries, who filed a $20 million complaint against the singer last month after accusing him of sexually abusing her in a Miami nightclub in 2018.
Songz has refuted Jeffries’ assertions. In August 2020, the “Slow Motion” singer also disputed a sexual assault accusation made by Celina Powell’s friend Aliza, a social media influencer.
According to Aliza, he allegedly kidnapped Aliza and urinated on her in a hotel restroom.
