Belinda Peregrín | Biography
Renowned as Belinda Peregrín or mononymously Belinda, she is a beautiful, talented and celebrated personality of Mexico. She is a singer/songwriter and an actress too who has won the hearts of millions of people though her alluring voice and acting skills. Belinda has been contributing in the industry since she was 10 and has since then appeared in various soap operas and movies. Belinda was born on 15th August, 1989 as one of two kids and the only daughter of Ignacio Peregrín and Belinda Schüll. She was actually anmed Belinda Peregrín Schüll by her parents but is mononymously known as Belinda on stage. When she was born, her parents were living in Madrid, Spain and later moved to Mexico City during her childhood. As she is named behind her mother, her brother is also named behind her father. Her brother is also known by the name Nachito.
Belinda is currently 25 years old. The young and sensational singer/actress is desired by many men but only few lucky have got the chance to date her. Among her lovers list, first comes Christopher Von Uckermann. He is a Mexican singer-songwriter and actor with whom she dated in the early 2000s. In 2008, she began a relationship with Spanish football player José Díaz Sánchez, best known as Pepe Díaz. Breaking up with Pepe, Belinda began dating another football player from Spain named Giovani dos Santos. They dated each other from 2009 to 2010 and separated. Few months after separating with Giovani, Belinda was romantically linked with Mario Alberto Domínguez Zarzar, a Mexican singer/songwriter best known by his stage name Mario Domm. Their relationship lasted for few months. Belinda was also linked with Puerto Rican musician Nely “El Arma Secreta” but their relationship was not confirmed.
Spanish born Mexican actress/singer, Belinda was active as an actress since she was a child. She was a 10 year old kid when she made her debut as an actress through the soap opera ¡Amigos X Siempre!. She played major role as Ana Capistrán Vidal in the soap opera which won her three awards i.e. Palme d’Or for Best Child Actress, Eres Award for Best Singer and Actress and TVyNovelas Award for Best Female Newcomer. Soon afterwards, she appeared as the central character of soap operas Aventuras en el tiempo and Cómplices al rescate which earned her widespread recognition. She also won two Eres Niños Awards for the phenomenal performance she made in Cómplices al rescate. Camaleones and Corazones el límite are other soap operas she is known for. Belinda did not only launch her acting career in a young age but also became known as a professional singer at a young age of 14. She released self titled debut album in August 2003 which topped the chart in Mexico having sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide. In her later career, she has released three other successful albums such as Utopía, Carpe Diem and Catarsis. She has also released a number of hit singles, some of which are Lo Siento, Angel, En la Obscuridad, Egoísta, I Love You… Te Quiero, etc. Her successful singing career earned her the role of Marisol Duran in popular Disney movie The Cheetah Girls 2 and also earned her the chance of becoming a part of El Factor X’s judge panel. She has also won a vast array of awards along with a huge net worth of $10 million approximately.
