Cheryl Stephanie Burke was born on May 3, 1984, in San Mateo County, California, USA, to parents, Stephen Louis Burke and Sherri Bautista. She is of American nationality and was brought up alongside a sister, Nicole. She also has a stepsister, Mandy.
Regarding her education, Cheryl Burke attended a traditional primary school before proceeding to ‘Menlo-Atherton High School’ where she graduated in 2002. Cheryl received ballet training at the age of 4 but later lost interest in it. At the age of 11, Burke started her training in ballroom dance and within 2 years, she started participating in international ballroom dance competitions.
Cheryl Burke is best known for being one of the professional dancers on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. There she became the first female professional to win the show and the first professional to win twice and consecutively.
