A Motoamerica Junior Cup #27 Asian American has passed away. On February 14, 2023, racer Chris Clark (@chris.clark.racing), commonly known as “Superman,” was declared dead.

It is still unclear what caused the death. The officials might reveal the funeral plans at a later time. Everyone is mourning and remembering Chris while expressing sympathy on social media.

According to a statement made by Hughes Racing Chassis announcing the loss of American motorcycle racer Chris Clark: “Everyone at Hughes Racing Chassis extends its condolences to Chris Clark’s family. He was such a wonderful, joyful man. Knowing him and being able to call him a friend was an honor. He’ll be missed, I say.

In 2006, Clark started a professional road racing career. That year he received the AMA Horizon Award (awarded to the rider at the AMA Grand Championship Road Races who has the most potential for AMA success). In 2009, he started his professional racing career in the AMA Pro Supersport division, and then in 2010, he advanced to the AMA Pro Superbike division.

He was a genuine racer who competed for the right causes. Chris was a wonderful human being. Even on a terrible night, he always smiled after the races. He will be missed both now and in the future.

In 2010 and 2011, Clark competed in Yamaha Superbike races for his father’s Pat Clark Motorsports team. Then, in 2012–2014, Clark joined the Yoshimura Suzuki Superbike team thanks to Pat Clark’s funding. With team Zyvax R1, Clark won the WERA National Endurance overall championship in 2010. However, his best year came in 2014, when he placed fourth in the AMA Pro Superbike Championship while making one podium appearance and finishing in the top five.
