Born January 3, 1996 in Toledo, DeShone Allen Kizer is a young and emerging professional football player who plays American football as a quarterback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League.

In the early days of his life, you could say DeShone was something special, developing his academic intelligence as he grew up with a ball in his hands. He attended Central Catholic in Toledo, Ohio, where he attended high school. By eighth grade, he had become a pure nerd and was well on his way to becoming the defender of his ensemble.

In football, he led the Catholic Central Irish fight to a 14-1 record and the Division II title. Despite his football status, DeShone was much more than a sports personality. The student government, as well as the Sideline Spirit team, which organized motivational rallies for football and basketball games, also participated in DeSHone’s response. He was also one of five Super Fella finalists to dance Sadie Hawkins. Things changed, however, when he went to Notre-Dame for his college studies. Kizer found his place and followed his heart – football.

Family and relatives

The second of four children, Kizer is the son of Derek Kizer, a police officer, and Mindy Kizer, a bailiff. His father played basketball at Bowling Green from 1987 to 1991 and then played for one season in France. DeShone’s mother was also athletic during her prime as a three-sport athlete at Clyde High in Ohio. At the University of Toledo, she ran track.

He was in a romantic relationship with Elli Thatcher. The couple had been friends since high school and officially started dating in 2014. In the spring of 2015, his high school sweetheart discovered a baseball-sized tumor near the base of his skull (neck) that had to be removed.

He was diagnosed with cancer. As Thatcher battled the tumor during his surgery days in the hospital, Kizer stood by his side, creating a balance between football and his relationship. As a result of the operation, her throat, vocal cords and tongue were paralyzed. She could barely speak or swallow. In addition to this, her left leg below the knee was paralyzed. Deshone became emotionally drained and was about to quit football.
