Former Deputy Sheriff Scott Weinberger and Anna take listeners behind the scenes of homicide cases and the victims’ paths to justice, providing an insider’s viewpoint along the way.

But they have been working from the day True Conviction started. Anna was the host of the crime series, whereas Scott was the producer. The former law enforcement officer became a crime reporter after leaving his job as Deputy Sherrif.

As his popularity increased on Tv, he started his own production company, Weinberger Media, in 2011. Since then, the production house has produced five shows: True Conviction, One Deadly Mistake, Eyes In The Sky, American Vice, and On The Case With Paula Zahn.

Anna Is A Former Homicide Prosecutor

Anna was born in New York but stayed with her mother in Iceland in childhood. Anna is 52 years old.

She has a brother named Robert Thor Dranitzke. He once posted about his sister’s podcast and asked everyone to support her. Although the siblings do not often appear together on social media, they share a great bond.

Likewise, her Instagram posts show only herself and sometimes her dog named Baxter. She talked about how her dog was guilty of her missing the watering can in position. She often posts about her dog and can be seen going on walks with him.

In terms of academic background,  her Linkedin profile mentions she graduated from Brooklyn Law School. Her professional life started at Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office in 1995.

Thus, for almost 21 years, she was a New York prosecutor for the Kings County District Attorney in Brooklyn. She served as Chief of Trials for the Homicide Bureau before her departure in 2017.

She is also the founder of Forseti Media and a former murder prosecutor. She also works as the television host and co-executive producer of True Conviction, a true-crime Discovery Channel series.

Anna has been on Harvard Law School’s prestigious Winter Trial Advocacy Workshop faculty since 2015. She also gives local and national seminars and is a member of several professional organizations.

Sharing her experience, she wrote on her website that she loves to empower girls and women to be confident in their abilities, realize their true potential, and believe that they can succeed in their goals.
