Everson Pereira was born on November 10, 1975 in Campo Grande.

Everson Pereira began his youth career at Portuguesa da Desportos in 1989, followed by a six-year spell at Parana. In early 1997, Everson Pereira moved to Girondins de Bordeaux to play for their reserve team in the CFA, where he scored 16 goals in 9 matches.

Everson Pereira then joined RWDM Brussels in the start of 1998, and stayed there for 18 months.

In the summer of 1999, Everson Pereira moved to German football and spent three years there, featuring for Eintracht Braunschweig, Armina Bielefield and finally, Vfl Osnabruck.

In 2002, Everson Pereira joined the freshly promoted Nice and became an undisputed starter, playing 60 matches over two seasons, netting eleven goals, seven from free-kicks. Everson Pereira’s performances earned him a move to Benfica in 2004, who signed him on a 4-year deal.

The following season, Everson Pereira was expected to remain with the Nice first-team, but he was deemed surplus by Ronald Koeman, who demoted him to the reserve team.

In July 2007, Everson Pereira moved to Neuchatel Xamax on a permanent deal. After leaving Neuchâtel Xamax, Everson Pereira played briefly at Etoile du Sahel and then returned to Germany to play for TuS Koblenz and closed his career at age 34, in Gueugnon.

In 2011, Everson Pereira returned to Nice to work in their media department.
