In 2010, she began making music and released See.SZA.RUN and S. After singing with Top Daw Entertainment, a hip-hop record label, she released Z. Z is her third EP and her first commercial release.

During the sixteenth annual Grammy Awards, SZA received four nominations, including Best New Artist. ‘Ctrl’ was named the greatest album of 2017 by Time magazine.
