Janet Landgard is an American actress, model, and cover girl who was born on December 2, 1947 in Pasadena, California and who has also resided in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Landgard starred in the 1968 cult film written and directed by Eleanor and Frank Perry, The Swimmer, featuring Burt Lancaster. Landgard was also a regular on the popular 1960s television series, The Donna Reed Show. The Donna Reed Show was one of television's top 25 shows in 1963-1964. She also starred in 1969’s Land Raiders with Telly Savalas and the 1974 film, Moonchild, with Victor Buono.Landgard was interviewed for the behind-the-scenes documentary directed by Academy Award-winner Chris Innis, The Story of the Swimmer, which was featured on the 2014 Grindhouse Releasing/Box Office Spectaculars Blu-ray/DVD restoration of The Swimmer.
