Hafner has been working as a full-time chief meteorologist at KMIZ-TV (NPG of Missouri) in Columbia, Missouri, United States since Apr 2019. Previously, she worked as a meteorologist at KSDK-TV NewsChannel 5 in the Greater St. Louis Area from March 2016 to March 2019.
From February 2014 to February 2016, she worke as a meteorologist for ABC 17 News at Noon at News-Press & Gazette Company of Missouri (KMIZ-TV and KQFX-TV) in the Columbia Area, Missouri. Earlier to that she worked as a weekend meteorologist and reporter at KRCG from October 2012 to February 2014. While there she was responsible for forecasting skills to provide an accurate weather synopsis for a whole week and create graphics with Weather Central. She also presents an engaging, clear, and reliable weather story for viewers.
Furthermore, she was a weekend interactive managing editor as well as a fill-in producer for evening newscasts. She had her first experience as a Student Intern at the U.S. National Weather Service, Central Illinois for four months in 2011 and as a weather Intern at WICS-TV from July 2012 to Octoer 2012.
