Terrence Howard is an Oscar-nominated American actor and musician with a net worth of $5 million. Terrence would be much wealthier, but he has had a number of financial issues.

Terrence was the highest-paid actor in “Iron Man” in 2008, playing Colonel James Rhodes; for the sequel, the producers reportedly offered him $1 million instead of the $8 million agreed upon in his contract, eventually replacing him with Don Cheadle.

Howard has had several run-ins with the IRS. In 2010, he allegedly received a $1.1 million overdue tax bill. Terrence and his on-again, off-again wife Mira were being investigated for tax evasion in June 2019.  He was hit with liens totalling $600,000 in 2006 and $143,000 in 2019.

Terrence was sued for $5 million in 2008 by composer Tex Allen after allegedly assaulting Allen during a “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” rehearsal.

Terrence Howard’s work has earned him over 30 awards, including two BET Awards (2006 and 2015), a Black Movie Award (2005), and a Satellite Award (2005). He has been nominated for 12 NAACP Image Awards and has won four of them: in 2000, 2006, 2011, and 2016.
