Elias Theodorou, a former UFC fighter, passed away at age 34, as he lost his battle with cancer on Sunday; he had not disclosed his condition before his demise.

According to the daily mail, Theodorou lost his fight over the weekend after receiving a Stage 4 liver cancer diagnosis.

He competed most recently in December last year, winning Colorado Combat Club 10 against Bryan Baker unanimously.

Dana paid tribute to Theodorou on his Instagram story by sharing a photo of the combatant with the phrase, “RIP Elias Theodorou.”

Other MMA fighters have also paid their respects, including Michael Chiesa, who sent a heartfelt video on his Twitter account with the comment, “Rest in peace, dear friend.”
