He was an Ivory Coast native who later immigrated to the Netherlands. He was one of the important figures who shaped Nathan to be such an impactful player. As a manager of the VV Wilhelmus academy, he tutored his son to be a footballer.

Moise also worked as a teetotal. Before his passing on 15 September 2021, he had been ill for the past few weeks.
