As per the public records, the apartment where the couple lived was last sold in 2019 for around $540k. Lauren, along with a relative, is the owner of the apartment. It appears that the pair have been together for quite a long time.
On March 10, 2022, Barbara, a Broadway vocal coach, was crossing the road for a can to take her to Joe’s Pub located at the Public Theatre. Lauren allegedly shouted at the woman before pushing her for no reason.
Barbara hit her head on the pavement. Around half an hour after the attack, Lauren and her fiance were spotted entering Penn Station, where the couple each swiped a MetroCard belonging to Lauren.

Lauren stopped using her mobile and stashed it at her aunt’s house, according to the prosecutor. She got arrested about two weeks after the attack and was released on bail for $500,000. However, she was jailed again on May 10 after Justice Felicia Menin labeled her a severe flight risk.
