When he was just three years old, his parents lost custody of him. Since then, he lived with his other relatives.

Growing up, he was a quiet boy who had a wall all around himself. His broken family was always sensitive to him.

Things were going to increase worse for Lane as he has a rivalry with one of the victims. All hell broke loose when he took his gun to his school.

His trial gained national attention. After careful judgment by Judge Tim Grendell, he ruled that Lane will be in Juvenile until his coming of age.

In 2014, mass shooter TJ Lane escaped from the high-security Oakwood Correctional Facility in Lima. After investigation, it was found that he scaled a fence during break time.

As soon as his escape got notified, two officers from the special response team got deployed.

In less than six hours, he was found in the yards by prison wardens. He was around 100 meters from the facility.

Reportedly, he was about to make his way to a Church on the north side of the prison.

Moreover, two inmates were his accomplices.

During the incident, six studies got injured. Joseph Ricci and Frank Hall managed to chase him out of the school before he hurt anyone else.
