Following Patrick Baker’s tragic death on December 16, 2022, announced by a Facebook post from Christopher Columbus High Campus, the entire school was grieved.

On behalf of the Marist Brothers, President Kruczek, Principal Pugh, and the Administration, we communicate the passing of + Patrick Baker of the Class of 2025. We pray for the repose of Patrick’s soul, his family and friends’ needs, the Class of 2025, and his football teammates.

Young Baker’s demise has no known cause of death. The school might make announcements about the funeral later. On social media, all of his friends and family who are missing him remember him and pay respect to him.

Patrick Baker attended Christopher Columbus High School and was a member of the Class of 2025. This institution is a private, Roman Catholic, college-preparatory high school run by the Marist Brothers in Miami Dade County, Florida, the census-designated place of Westchester. It was started in 1958, and the Marist Brothers took control of it in 1959.

Baker was kind and always willing to assist others, especially his friends. He was soft-spoken and tried to hear what other individuals were saying. He was incredibly friendly and down to earth to everyone in his vicinity, and the entire school and his family will miss him dearly.
